Annotated Media Links

Yes, more links. These are the sites we visit for news, reviews, and coming attractions. We like to know what's happening today, or tomorrow, or next September. You never know when something interesting may happen, and we'd hate to be the last to know. Being out of the loop is just so tacky...

Ain't It Cool News
Harry and his cohorts have all the lastest news and production gossip that Hollywood doesn't want you to know. Don't be put off by the bare bones appearance and the lack of bells and whistles. This is a must visit site, and it's updated daily.

The 11th Hour
Movies, science fiction, and genre tv from a female perspective. No longer updated, but the back issues are still available.

Dark Horizons
Don't miss this one. Garth has clips, images, trailers, and reviews from an incredible selection of current and upcoming movies. There's also a guide to cult tv.

Corona's Coming Attractions
Worth checking out. Not as likely to have the latest news as quickly as AICN, but easier to search.

MovieCrypt
Movie reviews for the undead. How can you pass that up?

CHUD
Cinematic Happenings Under Development. Another good site for info on upcoming movies.

Skinema
The dermatology in the cinema website. Oh, yeah. Like I was going to be able to resist listing this one. Interesting, in a weird kind of way.

Bigglethwaite's UKTV QuickSheet
The sun never sets on Bigglethwaite's. An exhaustive list of links for UKTV show related sites.  Updated frequently.

The Cult TV Net Directory
A wonderful collection of off-beat and obscure links. We like off-beat and obscure. Achieving  off-beatness and obscurity is one of our primary goals. We've mastered the obscure part.

Slacker's Sci Fi Source
Links, links, links, and just for variety, more links. Links to comic sites, anime sites, sci-fi music, sci-fi humor, horror and many, many more.

Drew's-Scripts-O-Rama
A nice collection of scripts and transcripts. I might rave about this site a bit more, but Drew does plenty of that already.

Film-makers.com
Film news, daily quotes, chats, bulletin boards, and link heaven -- over 2150 links.

SoundTrackNet
A great site for info on music in films.

The Movie Sounds Page
Actually just *a* page for movie wavs, but this one's pretty good.

The Balcony
Classic movie quote wavs. If you'd rather your computer speak to you as Humphrey Bogart than Hans Solo, this is the site for you.

The Golden Years
If it happened in Hollywood between 1939 and 1969, this is where you find it. A beautiful site, quick loading, and the available information is amazing.

CineMedia
A real whopper of a media directory. Over 25,000 links to entertainment sites. And it's searchable. Well, it would have to be, wouldn't it?

Webfind.net
A movie search engine. Everybody needs at least one, don't they?

Cinemachine
Another specialty search engine, this one's for movie reviews.

Rotten Tomatoes
It's all about movies. They do news, reviews and interviews, too.

Film Threat
An online magazine featuring Indie movies. Any site that runs polls on how Leo should die in his next movie goes to the top of my bookmark file.

Cinescape Online
If you like the magazine, check out the website.

The American Film Institute
Entertainment news for the terminally bored.

Cine-rhama
The best in British cinema, past and present. Hundreds of links.

The Internet Movie Database
An essential link for film lovers, fans, and players of Trivial Pursuit.

Screenwriters On Line
Ever thought you could write a movie script? Check out this site.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
Aka, the Oscar people. They have a searchable Oscar database for when you just have to know what won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language film in 1957.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences
As above, except these are the Emmy people and the site is much cooler.

American Federation of Television and Radio Artists
Look foooor the union laaaaaabel... Ever wonder what the non-A-list stars get paid? A fascinating site.

S.A.G.
Another union: this one is the Screen Actors Guild.  Great links, by the way.

DreamWatch
Their links may suck, but you can order back issues online.

News of the Weird
We do more than watch movies. Sometimes we watch people.

The Drudge Report
A hard to beat collection of news links.

The IPL Reading Room
The Internet Public Library's listing of online newspapers.

Hard to Find Videos
The rare slash lover's home shopping network.
